Our Roots: A Century of Growing, 40 Years of Landscaping
G. Norwood Landscape was founded in 1979 by Gerald (Jerry) Norwood as a part-time landscape maintenance company. After years of nonstop commitment, Jerry left his job at The Gillette Company to run the business full-time in 1983. Over forty years later, through the continued leadership of his son Mark, G. Norwood remains family-owned and operated with the same ethos of care it was founded upon. We are proud to be one of the longest-tenured landscape companies on the South Shore, an impossible dream made true by our amazing customers and long-tenured staff.
Our History: G Norwood Landscaping
In 2017, we expanded our roots by purchasing the historic Packard Farm Stand property in Brockton. What began over a century ago as farmland has evolved over generations into 4 acres of thriving greenhouses, and we are proud to carry on that tradition of growing on-site. Today, G. Norwood Garden Center is home to an extensive collection of homegrown annuals, perennials, and vegetables, as well as a seasonal selection of shrubs. The majority of our annuals and veggies are grown right here in our greenhouses, utilizing sustainable practices to minimize our environmental impact.
Whether you are visiting our Garden Center for expert planting advice or hiring our uniformed crews for professional landscape management, our goal is the same. To provide a welcoming, professional experience and high-quality results. With over a century of combined landscaping experience, we handle the details so you can simply enjoy your yard.
