Purchased from the Packard family in 2016, G. Norwood Garden Center is proud to continue offering the same quality of plants and service that have beef offered on site for over 100 years. Nearly all of our plants are grown on site in our acres of greenhouses, utilizing aspects of organic agriculture, integrated pest management, and sustainable practices – part of our pledge to minimize our environmental impact.
G Norwood Garden Center is home to an extensive collection of annuals, perennials, vegetables, houseplants and shrubs. Our staff are all passionate gardeners who are prepared to provide information and insight to help fill your yard with color!
G Norwood Landscaping was founded in 1979 by Gerald (Jerry) Norwood as a part time landscape maintenance company. After years of nonstop commitment and work, he was able to leave his job at The Gillette Company and pursue running the company full time in 1983. Forty years later, G Norwood Landscape is proudly one of the longest tenured landscape companies on the south shore – an once impossible dream made true thanks to our amazing customers.
Through the continued commitment of his son Mark, G Norwood remains family owned and operated with the same ethos of care that it was founded with. As a result, we are grateful to have attracted some of the finest landscape professionals in the business, who are committed to working with customers every step of the way.
